All applications submitted or received after this date are subject to the requirements of the updated Development Manual. (UDC) The (UDC), adopted by the City Council on March 25, 2003, is the primary guide to development within the City of Georgetown. The UDC incorporates procedures, standards and regulations for zoning as well as subdivision applications. The UDC is the primary tool used to regulate land development in Georgetown. The UDC was adopted to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizens, and to regulate orderly and healthy development of the city. The Code was originally adopted in 2003 and contains zoning and subdivision regulations along with related development standards. The UDC adheres to a regular review of its provisions to ensure its compatibility with the 2030 Comprehensive Plan and current building and development patterns. This document was codified, as of November 2015. This codified document has searching capabilities that the PDF did not.
